with head chef Chris Watson (Cutler & Co; Wats-on the BBQ) firing up the barbeque all day for lunch, afternoon snacks and dinner. Complimented by our delicious wine, fresh country air, summer music, cold beers and magnificent sunset.

Saturday’s menu: 

“Yarra Valley lamb & Jayden Ong Pinot Noir” sausages 
Lemon, labne, Turkish chilli & flatbread
Cucumber salad, sorrel, sumac & tahini sauce
Heirloom tomatoes, red pepper oil, pickled onion & basil

Zaatar ocean trout skewers, charred lime

 Stretch out on the lawns, unfurl your blanket, glass of wine in hand and celebrate summer and good times at Chestnut Hill Vineyard. 

Winemaker Jayden Ong will be on hand to introduce you to the new releases including the 2017 Moonlit Forest Pinot Gris skin contact, 2015 La Maison de Ong Syrah ‘The Hermit’ as well as 2018 Saignée and the much awaited release of 2017 Jayden Ong Chardonnay ‘Chestnut Hill’ & 2017 Jayden Ong Pinot Noir ‘Chestnut Hill’. Plus all the current One Block & La Maison de Ong wines will be available to try and buy. The new Summerbird Vermouth ‘Batch:4’ will be served on ice and is sure to cause a stir.

The Kahuna Daddies will provide the quirkiest of tropical euphoria Tiki style music for your enjoyment.

Free entry, plenty of parking, lots of refreshing wine and the opportunity to buy wine at special cellar door prices. Plus one of Melbourne’s highly regarded chefs on the BBQ ‘a la casual‘.
