One Block winemaker Jayden Ong is throwing open the doors at his winery for the very first time – for 4 days only, this coming January.

Taste feature wines from the past 8 years of One Block Wine, alongside La Maison de Ong, Moonlit Forest, and NAS – preservative free.

There will also be a sneak preview of the new Jayden Ong range.

Good friends Meatsmith Specialty Butcher will be firing up the grill, cooking a delicious BBQ feast and local cheese legends Yarra Valley Dairy will bring along a collection of their favourite fromage.  Expect good-times-tunes every Sunday with DJ’s spinning fresh tracks, Giant Jenga to keep the big kids occupied and a fun-loving Tiki band to bring it home at the Series Finale on Sunday 28/01.

The first three Sundays (7/1, 14/1, 21/1) of the Summer Series are free events that include a wine tasting of new & current releases plus a preview of One Block Vermouth (made from its wine distillate and herbs, spices & flowers mainly from the home vineyard and garden). The cellar door will be stocked with wines to purchase on the day, or to take home as well as cold, refreshing beer on tap.

The cellar door will be open from 11am until 5pm each Sunday in January and the events will be held in the beautiful surrounds of Chestnut Hill Vineyard, located in the rolling hills of Mount Burnett (1280 Pakenham Rd, Mt Burnett). Just over the border of the southern tip of the Yarra Valley GI, near Gembrook.

On Sunday 28 January we will be hosting a ‘Summer Series’ finale, 11am-5pm and limited tickets for this event are available on the online store or through eventbriteTickets include either general admission or a reserved table, to enjoy BBQ feast by Meatsmith and live entertainment. The cellar bar will be stocked too!

Bring a picnic blanket and some sunscreen, then relax in the beautiful surrounds of Chestnut Hill Vineyard.
